Delete your Tidywell account

You can delete your account from inside the app (Profile → Account → Delete account). This page is the alternative route for anyone who can't sign in.

Prefer to do it in the app?

If you can still open Tidywell, the in-app flow is instant — no waiting for manual review. Go to Profile → Account → Delete account.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your Tidywell account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel in the App Store (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) before submitting this form, otherwise you'll keep being charged.

What gets deleted

  • Your sign-in record (email / Apple / Google identity)
  • Your profile — name, avatar, role
  • Your household membership. If you're the only admin of a household, the whole household and everyone's data in it is deleted.
  • All task completion history and activity timeline entries
  • Before / after photos stored in Tidywell (Supabase Storage)
  • Coins, streaks, achievements, and challenge progress
  • Shopping list entries, gift history, and invite codes you created
  • Push notification tokens and scheduled reminders

What we keep, and why

  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked back to you (kept for product analytics).
  • Payment and tax records held by Apple and Google on our behalf — we have no ability to delete these, and we're required to retain our own copies of purchase receipts for up to 7 years for accounting and tax law.

Timeline

Requests are processed within 30 days of receipt (GDPR standard). In practice we aim for within 72 hours on working days. You'll receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

Submit a deletion request

We'll use this to find your account and to send confirmation. For Apple Sign-In users who chose "Hide My Email", use the private relay address Apple generated.

Can't use this form?

Email us (tidywell-app@zohomail.eu) from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll reply within one working day.
